Phi Phi has more than one passenger landing point. A boat ticket can show the correct island while still leaving you at the wrong pier for your hotel.
If your hotel is in the Laemtong area on the north side of Phi Phi, select a boat with Laemtong as the confirmed drop-off. A ticket to Tonsai Pier is not the same transfer.
How I check the booking“When I check a Phi Phi booking, I start with the hotel name, not the boat time. If the hotel is at Laemtong, the ticket needs a Laemtong drop-off. A convenient departure to Tonsai does not fix the transfer at the other end.”

I keep these two references together because passengers often use one to ask about the other. The terminal photo helps with arrival. The fare board helps with comparison. I still check the selected date before confirming a departure.
This is the main passenger building at Rassada Pier. On busy mornings, several departures can be checking in at the same time. I highly recommend arriving inside the terminal 30 to 45 minutes before departure. Reaching the building at the time printed on the ticket is already late.
I use this board to compare the usual ticket categories. I do not use the picture to promise a seat or a final fare. Before confirming, I check the travel date, destination pier, ferry or speedboat, adult and child conditions, and remaining seats. Tonsai and Laemtong are both on Phi Phi, but they are different arrivals.
Rassada Pier is located 35km from Phuket Airport (60-90 min drive) and 20km from Patong Beach (45 min drive). Located on the eastern side of Phuket Town, it is centrally situated but requires proper travel timing due to local traffic.

I checked the published Route 3 information on 10 September 2026. It lists Rassada Pier on the green line and a 15 THB full-route fare. That confirms the route and fare, but not whether a particular bus gives enough time for ferry check-in.
When someone asks me whether the EV Bus will work, I start with the ferry departure and count backwards. I want the passenger inside the terminal 30 to 45 minutes before the boat leaves. Then I compare the current bus timing. If that margin disappears, I would use a taxi or ride-hailing car instead.

Large ferries operate year-round, even in light rain. While extreme weather may cause safety postponements, large ferries are rarely cancelled. Speedboats, however, may be rescheduled to the next available departure or transferred to a large ferry at no additional cost due to rough sea conditions. Please note: If the standard ferry is operating normally but you choose not to travel for personal reasons at the pier, tickets are strictly non-refundable.
